Anyone can confirm a certificate. No account is needed.

  1. Go to hipaacertify.com/verify. There's also a Verify Certificate link in the site footer.
  2. Enter the Certificate Number exactly as printed:
    • certificates from organizations start with HC-
    • individual purchases start with SOLO-
  3. Enter the Certificate Holder's Last Name.
  4. Click Verify Certificate.

Results#

  • Certificate Verified: the certificate is real and current. You'll see the course, the dates, and the holder's name partly hidden for privacy (for example "Ja*** Sm***").
  • Certificate Expired: real, but past its one-year validity. The holder should complete updated training.
  • Certificate Not Found: the number was mistyped, the last name doesn't match, or the certificate doesn't exist. Check for typos: the letter O vs the number 0, dashes, and spaces.
